The opposition may argue that students cannot express themselves with school uniforms thereby violating the first amendment. However, some kids have gotten creative, with colored socks, painted nails and long hair accessories. Some students say that they are an unnecessary hassle. Even if it is a hassle they are still important because they get rid of violence and other crimes. The opposition also argues they create economic burdens, however school uniforms often cost less then other clothes.
